Here is a camel spider and tarantula fight up close. They attack each other almost immediately. In this video, it only takes a split second for the camel spider and the Goliath tarantula to size up their opponent. The camel spider attempts to bite the face of the tarantula using its brawny jaws. The Goliath tarantula uses its long, hair legs to attack the camel spider, almost as if trying to push it away. Although smaller than the tarantula, the camel spider uses its speed to try to get closer to its opponent’s face. Watch two predators in the Arachnid class fight up close. What an amazing display of nature! After a few seconds into the video, we can see the camel spider slightly extending its saw-like jaw to capture the Goliath tarantula and hold it in place. The Goliath tarantula uses its huge size and strength to push the camel spider away. However, the camel spider successfully clings to its opponent using its jaw. Is this move enough to make it an efficient predator? Who do you think will win in this encounter? The tarantula moves away, somewhat dragging the camel spider along. Amazingly, it successfully escapes the pincer-like jaws of the camel spider.
